Which substances are restricted?

Electronic equipment and electronics must not exceed the permitted levels of the following substances:
- Lead (Pb)
- Mercury (Hg)
- Cadmium (Cd)
- Chrome hexavalent (Cr(VI))
- PolyBromide Biphenyls (PBB) and PolyBromide Diphenylethers (PBDE)
(Fireproof material used in some plastics).
