About the charging systems
The charging of Lith-Ion, the same as lead calcium, is performed by using CCCV (constant current constant – volt). This means that the charge starts by feeding in a constant current until reaching a determined voltage, where the charger fixes a preestablished voltage and leaves the cells to absorb the current until the end of the charge, according to their characteristics.
One should take the cells maximum and minimum operation temperatures into account, to avoid low performance or put the battery’s life at risk. Intelligence can be added to these chargers, connecting a compatible battery to one of these chargers means that it can be controlled, consequently, permanently offering the optimum charge required, in both a safe and controlled manner.
